Beta versions: Within the framework of the Beta Test program, future versions of 4D are available to you to discover new features, test your applications and help us improve, with the help of your feedback, the quality of the final versions put on the market.
 

Hotfixes: Regularly, between two minor versions, intermediary versions are offered to Partners to fix specific bugs. These versions can be used in case of showstopper bugs preventing your deployment and offer you a stopgap measure until the following official release of 4D.

Tech Support: By email, corresponding to Developer Tech Support according to the General Conditions of Technical Support: It includes the possibility of access by 1 beneficiary in your organization and the handling of 6 incidents per year  (not admissible within this framework are incidents related to the connectivity software or expansions not included in your 4D Partner membership).

Tech Notes: Published regularly by technicians and experts in the 4D world under the supervision of 4D’s tech support department; Integrated into 4D’s Knowledgebase, they offer you many examples and programming techniques.

4D Partner Central: A dedicated Web site (in English) giving you additional technical resources, code examples, etc. in addition to the services above.

Partner-only 4D Forum: A space reserved on the 4D forums for Partners to exchange information and help each other out.

Partner-only FTP site: A private side to download information and exclusive software.

Tech support: By email, corresponding to Developer Tech Support according to the General Conditions of Technical Support: It includes the possibility of access by 2 beneficiaries in your organization and the handling of 24 incidents per year, maximum (not admissible within this framework are incidents related to the connectivity software or expansions not included in your 4D Partner membership).

Bugbase: Dedicated access to a Web portal allowing you to view all bugs reported to 4D, with their status, as well as the ability to submit your own bugs.

Training (on 4D premises): 2 half-days of training, not cumulable for the same training for one person, based on the calendar of sessions published on our Web site. (There must be a minimum of five paying attendees for a scheduled training session to take place.)

Technical meetings (on 4D premises): A technical consultant, within a maximum time frame of one person-day per year, is available to you to handle all technical subjects concerning the 4D software of your choice, except third-party software. Any part of a half-day used (from 9:30am to 12:30pm or 2:00pm to 6:00pm) is considered an entire use. The time necessary to understand your particular situation, notably to read all documents or review the application in question, will be counted toward the allotted time.

Use of the 4D Partner logo corresponding to your level of partnership, in your marketing communications,

product brochures, Web site, etc.

4D Solutions Guide: Your development competencies and products using our technologies can be featured on our Web site, in the Solutions Guide, if you so choose.

Participation in Success Stories*: Success Stories published on the 4D Web site offer greater visibility for your products, your know-how, and your company.

4D Partner certificate: To show off at your office, as a sign of your membership in the privileged circle of developers recognized by 4D.

Assistance in creating marketing materials*: Oriented toward “return on investment,” our advice focuses on identifying and prioritiing the added value you bring to your clients. Based on the complexity of your needs, our involvement may be limited to one person-day per Partner.

Referrals* to potential end users who contact 4D to get information about professional solutions, custom development, etc.

Press releases: Your announcements and press releases can be relayed by our press operations. Despite our best efforts, however, we cannot guarantee their transmittal in all of your targeted media, and in case of high demand, we may be limited in the number we can handle at any given time.

Gold Expansion: Partners can acquire additional licences** for 4D Developer Professional or additional users for 4D Team Developer Professional, with no limit in number, for one colleague (within the same company) or for an additional operating system at the price of A$299 apiece (pre-tax). An additional tech support contact is also authorized.

Discounts***: Up to 20% on new 4D software licenses and 4D Maintenance, up to 10%on 4D upgrade licenses, and a discount on developer conferences.
