Beta versions: Within the framework of the Beta Test program, future versions of 4D are available to you to discover new features, test your applications and help us improve, with the help of your feedback, the quality of the final versions put on the market.
 

Hotfixes: Regularly, between two minor versions, intermediary versions are offered to Partners to fix specific bugs. These versions can be used in case of showstopper bugs preventing your deployment and offer you a stopgap measure until the following official release of 4D.

* The licenses provided within the framework of the 4D Partner Program are temporary licenses usable for the duration of the validity of the program. Each year, new license numbers will be furnished to the Partner. At any time in the course of the program, the Partner may receive licenses for any new versions of 4D available, including the beta versions to which (s)he has rights. The Partner can keep using these versions and continue to request new annual licenses even after the end of sales, as long as the subscription to the Partner program is not interrupted.

Tech Notes: Published regularly by technicians and experts in the 4D world under the supervision of 4D’s tech support department; Integrated into 4D’s Knowledgebase, they offer you many examples and programming techniques.


4D Partner Central: A dedicated Web site (in English) giving you additional technical resources, code examples, etc. in addition to the services above.


Partner-only 4D Forum: A space reserved on the 4D forums for Partners to exchange information and help each other out.


Partner-only FTP site: A private side to download information and exclusive software.


Technical workshops and webinars: These webinars, normally priced at €99 but included in your Partner membership, are hosted by 4D engineers and third-party experts. Lasting approximately two hours and occuring about once quarterly, they cover many technical subjects and accelerate and facilitate your mastery of new technologies in the 4D universe.

Technical meetings (on 4D premises): A technical consultant, within a maximum time frame of one person-day per year, is available to you to handle all technical subjects concerning the 4D software of your choice, except third-party software. Any part of a half-day used (from 9:30am to 12:30pm or 2:00pm to 6:00pm) is considered an entire use. The time necessary to understand your particular situation, notably to read all documents or review the application in question, will be counted toward the allotted time.

Commercial discounts on maintenance: The 4D Silver Partner gets an extra discount on his yearly renewal invoice for his 4D licenses under maintenance.

According to his status (dealer or end user), this discount can amount up to 20% !

Assistance in creating marketing materials: Oriented toward “return on investment,” our advice focuses on identifying and prioritiing the added value you bring to your clients. Based on the complexity of your needs, our involvement may be limited to one person-day per Partner.


Referrals to potential end users who contact 4D to get information about professional solutions, custom development, etc.


Press releases: Your announcements and press releases can be relayed by our press operations. Despite our best efforts, however, we cannot guarantee their transmittal in all of your targeted media, and in case of high demand, we may be limited in the number we can handle at any given time.


Support for your events and meetings: To help you in your sales efforts, based on the availability of our sales and pre-sales engineers, we can accompany you to present the added value of 4D solutions coupled with your own, based on the scale of your projects and our evaluation of said projects.


Annual information conference: We regularly organize, mostly as Webinars, information meetings – sales or technical or both – for our Partners. Generally at no additional cost, and not part of the included technical workshops, these information sessions aim to give you the knowledge you need to convince your clients about 4D technologies. In case of a paid session, you will be privy to a special Partner price.
