4D provides you with three types of help files to give you an extra hand.
4D Help Files give users online-style documentation while using 4D. Once 4D Help files have been loaded (much like plug-ins) they can be called from the Design or User environments, or called programmatically.
Windows Help Files provide online help in CHM (Compressed HTML format). They can be used by Windows' default help reader, and by third-party CHM readers on multiple platforms.
Mac Help Files are designed for Mac OS's Help Viewer application.
Certification matrices show you which 4D products have been certified for which operating systems. Language certifications show you which languages are officially supported by 4D products.
