4D WebSTAR V v5.3.1 Update Now Available

SAN JOSE, Calif., July 28, 2003 - 4D, Inc. today released 4D WebSTAR V v5.3.1, an update to 4D WebSTAR Server Suite V now with Norton AntiVirus™ email filtering support, spam filtering in 4D WebMail Pro, a new 4D Dynamic Data Indexer (4D DDI), and more.

The 4D WebSTAR V v5.3.1 update extends its application integration capabilities with a new 4D Dynamic Data Indexer feature. 4D DDI adds SOAP-based Web Services client support to the 4D WebSTAR Search crawler, allowing rapid searches of dynamic data served by any Web Services-compliant data source, including 4th Dimension 2003. The new 4D WebMail Pro application now performs spam filtering for Web-based mail users, with individually adaptive spam sensitivity. 4D WebSTAR V v5.3.1 also includes CGI, FTP and numerous other reliability improvements and plugin enhancements.
