4D WebSTAR Server Suite 5.1.1 Outshines Apache, iTools, and Mac OS X Server in Germany's Macwelt Magazine

San Jose, CA., August 12, 2002 -- 4D WebSTAR V v5.1.1 was given the highest rating by Macwelt magazine in a comparative review of Web servers for Mac OS X in their September 2002 issue. Macwelt, the German version of Macworld magazine, compared the Web serving capabilities of 4D WebSTAR V v5.1.1 with those of iTools v6.5.1, Mac OS X Server v10.1.4, and Apache on OS X.

As an overall product, 4D WebSTAR V received five out of six "mice" from Macwelt. The comparison focused on overall Web server usability, including ease of installation and set up. 4D WebSTAR V v5.1.1 received additional praise for easy and delegable administration, stability, and performance. Comparatively, on a grading scale of 1.0 to 6.0 with 1.0 as the best possible result, 4D WebSTAR V v5.1.1 received a grade of 2.3, edging out iTools at 2.4, Mac OS X Server at 2.7, and Apache on Mac OS X at 3.4.
