Enhanced 4D Backup system delivers ultra-strength data recovery with Data Mirroring

that simplify the process of developing and deploying database applications, today announced the release of 4th Dimension 2004.3. This important release includes several enhancements, such as the integrated mirroring system, debug logging capabilities and numerous bug fixes.

Data mirroring provides a sophisticated backup system for data redundancy and recovery. Administrators can utilize a second computer that mirrors the data on the operational database, which is on the main computer. The mirror periodically updates itself to keep pace with the operational database. The new and more flexible system provides developers more programmatic control to fully automate database maintenance.
