After 4 years of development and marketing, 4D announces that it will entrust 4D Business Kit to 4D Net Center.
"We have decided to dedicate a structure to 4D Business Kit in order for the product to be able to fully benefit from all the resources necessary for its evolution. We are convinced that the experience and solid knowledge acquired in the domain of the Internet by 4D Net Center will contribute to making it a leading product. 4D Net Center will begin the development, distribution, maintenance and support for 4D Business Kit in June," states Laurent Ribardière, President of 4D S.A.
4D Net Center, an Internet hosting structure founded in June 2001 jointly by 4D and Ajar, its Swiss distributing partner, already manages a great number of 4D servers. It is thus natural to group together the Internet activities of development and hosting.
"Taking charge of 4D Business Kit is for us the logical next step in the life of this product and proof of 4D's trust in us. This will allow us to put all our technological expertise and knowledge of e-commerce to work for this application.
