Make sure you comply with local regulations and that you obtain all required permits.

Santa Cruz County, CA
Partnerships and corporations doing business in Illinois or with Illinois customers must submit an NUC-1 form with the Illinois Department of Revenue.
Sole proprietorships selling tangible property must also submit form NUC-1.
Business licenses are not required. However, you should contact the Zoning Enforcement Office in your city to ensure that your business is in compliance with city zoning laws.
