4D provides a solid framework to launch your database into the Web 2.0 space with some of the most cutting edge functionality: The 4D Ajax Framework, part of 4D's Web 2.0 Pack.
But to really start customizing your web pages, both in and out of the 4D Ajax Framework, you need to know JavaScript. This course will introduce you to it.
Developers will be introduced to the concepts and uses of JavaScript, first learning the language leading up to a demonstration of how it fits into the 4D Ajax Framework. This includes discussions and examples of JavaScript variables, objects, arrays and object oriented programming. Developers who take this class will walk away with enough knowledge to begin developing custom JavaScript on their pages.
